ReplyDeleteI love the payoff of seeing students engaged in a lesson that I worked really hard on and the progress they make throughout the year.

ReplyDeleteI love teaching because I can touch so many lives and be someone they can rely on.
ReplyDeleteI love those "ah-ha!" moments and watching my 5th graders grow and mature from elementary kids to little adults :)
ReplyDeleteI love teaching really for the lightbulb moment - when they finally get the concept. It's especially great when they had absolutely no self confidence to begin with "I can't do this", and then they prove themselves wrong. I love seeing their independence grow, starting the year with a bunch of modeling, and then by spring they are a well oiled machine. It's so rewarding.
ReplyDeleteI love witnessing the growth from the start of the year to the end. It's amazing. I love putting smiles on little faces.

ReplyDeletethis is awesome thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI love teaching because I can see what they have become years later.
ReplyDeleteI love teaching because it is challenging and changes from day to day. No matter how much I want to throw in the towel, I don't because I have to believe the children's circumstances are beyond their control outside of the classroom. I help them all that I can inside of the classroom and hope that flows elsewhere.

ReplyDeleteI love teaching for all the stereotypical reasons but also because there is always a chance to change and learn and try again!
ReplyDeleteI love watching a student grow and develop. I love it when they finally get a concept and you get to see the lightbulb moment. I also love the relationships and bonds that are formed.

ReplyDeleteI love teaching because it challenges me to think outside the box and watching students learn new things.
ReplyDeleteI love teaching because of the connections I make with students and seeing their confidence grow.
ReplyDeleteI fell in love with teaching when I was volunteering with 4th graders and helping them with long division. When they finally caught on to a concept and I heard "Ohh, I get it" that was the most rewarding thing that I ever heard. I formerly worked in Marketing and knew at that moment that I made the right decision to go back to school and get my teaching degree. Thank you for this fantastic giveaway and thank you for all that you do!
ReplyDeleteI love the 'I get it!' Moment!
ReplyDeleteI love teaching because I get to be a role model for children who may not have great role models at home, and their faces when they realize that they are way smarter than they gave themselves credit for. It's truly amazing to me!
ReplyDeleteI love helping children discover a love of learning!
ReplyDeleteI became a teacher because I was a student who struggled to learn to read. Thankfully by the 4th grade I got caught up with the other kids, and I got caught up because of ALL the amazing teachers at my elementary school who worked very hard to get me to where I needed to be. I LOVE teaching because it is my hope that I can help kids the way my teachers helped me, and I find it absolutely priceless when I can see the light bulb turn on and see that ahh moment.
ReplyDeleteSeeing hard work pay off.
ReplyDeleteI love teaching because it is important work, different every day, the hardest thing I've ever done, and kids are pretty great. :)
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the joy on the face of a child who finally "gets" a concept and sees that that they can learn and do things they didn't think they could.

ReplyDeleteI love that no two days are ever the same. I can constantly change things up and explore.
ReplyDeleteI love those moments where the students are truly engaged in learning for their own sake, because they've taken ownership of whatever it is we are doing.
ReplyDeleteAfter a 4.5 year hiatus, I am back into the classroom and fueling my passion for education, yet again. I love learning, myself, and love passing on that love to others.
ReplyDeleteKnowing that I'm the only stable thing in many of my student's lives makes me want to be there for them each and everyday. They are like my children and I need to give them the best each and everyday.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the light bulbs go off for those kids that struggled at the beginning of the year.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing how much kids can improve!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing my students grow and learn new things each day! Being a teacher is rewarding in so many ways!
ReplyDeleteI love teaching because my little firsties are such sponges and just soak it all in. Their learning is so obvious when they are young. "The kids" is why we do it, right?
ReplyDeleteI love teaching because even though my students are not on grade level, I can see they have made a ton of progress and they come to school ready to learn and with smiles on their faces.

ReplyDeleteI love teaching because I love connecting with students! They make it all worthwhile.
ReplyDeleteSweet Tea and Second Grade
I love teaching because I know I make a difference, every day. Soon I will be attending a college graduation of a former 5th grader. She is going into secondary ed. Friday, I had another former student who is also graduating going into elementary ed observe in my class. To me, that's what teaching is all about, making a lifelong difference.
ReplyDeleteThere are a million reasons why I absolutely love the career I have chosen. I love teaching because every day and every year is different. I love knowing that I can impact each and every one of my students and that what I do today may help carry them into different facets of their lives for years to come. It's the only job of it's kind!
ReplyDeleteBecause kids say the funniest things and I love the joy they bring to my life :)
ReplyDeleteI love the relationships I build with my students and the relationships they build with one another. I love seeing them collaborate together as a family, listening to the meaningful conversations they have with one another & learning from one another.
ReplyDeleteMy students keep me coming back everyday. I especially love to see them finally get the hang of something after struggling with it.
ReplyDeleteI love teaching, because it is a part of who I am. I've never imagined doing anything else.
ReplyDeleteI also love being around kids all day, cause I am still a kid at heart!
I love to watch my students soar and reach their goals
ReplyDeleteI love teaching because I am able to give back to young lives like so many amazing teachers had done for me.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the kids learn!
ReplyDeleteWhat I love about teaching is when what your teaching finally clicks and also seeing some of your students years later come back and remind you that it was you that made a difference in their lives.

ReplyDeleteI love teaching because I feel like I'm making a difference in the lives of others!!
ReplyDeleteWhat I love about teaching is seeing my students faces when they get it. I love laughing with them and listening to some of the great things they say. My students truly brighten up my day and I couldn't think of a better job than this!
ReplyDeleteI love digging deep to know my students and their interests so that I can work those things into our classroom learnings. I love watching a bunch of shy/anxious/hurting/happy kids who come to me in the beginning grow into a family that is safe and supportive of each other. As a team, we can do anything.
ReplyDeleteI love teaching because it makes my heart so happy knowing that I am making a positive impact on children's lives.
ReplyDeleteSeeing students grow and learn.
ReplyDeleteI know this may seem cliche but there is no other way to truly impact the future. I believe that being a good teacher and role model for students can help steer them in the right direction. I teach in a low income school and I want my students to know that they can achieve anything that they put their mind to.
ReplyDeleteI love teaching because I love getting to know my students and watch them grow each and every day!
ReplyDeleteOne of the things that thrills me to see is when my students really internalize something they've learned, whether it's academic, personal, or relational. For instance, I have one student who has really struggled with classroom behavior (i.e. shouting out, talking with other students recess-style, etc.) and just the other day I saw him catch himself before he said something out loud, not as a response to me, but of his own initiative. I was so proud!
ReplyDeleteI love teaching because each and every day is a new adventure! Always a challenge and always gets better!
ReplyDeleteI love being blessed with the opportunity to make a difference in kids lives every day....this has been a stressful year but the kids make it all worth it:)
ReplyDeleteI love teaching because for 6 hours out of the day I can inspire something in someone that can last a lifetime.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing more powerful than being part of their ah ha moments!
ReplyDeleteI love teaching because of the creativity needed to reach each child. There is always another way to do something!
ReplyDeleteI love teaching because I love making a difference!
ReplyDeleteI work with students who have learning disabilities, so when they "GET" something, it makes it even more meaningful for me. Sometimes I work with a kid for a whole year before they fully "get" things that other kids get so easily! Seriously, I've cried when these kids show learning and growth!
ReplyDeleteI love teaching because I enjoy teaching children to become lifelong learners and inspire them to want to learn something new every day!
ReplyDeleteI love to see students excited about learning and being a loving parent figure to those that do not have a loving home environment.
ReplyDeleteI love knowing I am making a difference!
ReplyDeleteI love knowing I am making a difference!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the look on a student's face when a concept finally "clicks"!
ReplyDeleteI guess the part of teaching that gets me up in the morning is the challenge of helping my students see the connections between classwork and the real world in which they live. Helping them see that there is a greater purpose to "learning" than some high stakes state test.
ReplyDeleteI just love working with the children! I want them to know someone believes in them and cares for them.
ReplyDeleteI love making learning fun!
ReplyDeleteI love this! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing my students be able to do something that they could not previously do!
ReplyDeleteI love getting to spend time with people (both students and other teachers) who are so creative, imaginative, and excited about learning!
ReplyDeleteI love finding new exciting adventures for my students!
ReplyDeleteThe aha moments are wonderful to see!
ReplyDeleteI love that every day is different but each day I learn something new about my students!
ReplyDeleteThe minute a child "gets it" is the most gratifying ever, even after 30 plus years. I love teaching!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your generosity and hard work!
I love the "lightbulb" moments!!
ReplyDeleteI love knowing that I am making a difference in someones life.
ReplyDeleteAs a lifelong learner myself, I love to instill a love of learning in my students.
ReplyDeleteComing up with fun lessons and those lightbulb moments! Plus the laughs-they're pretty funny!
ReplyDelete:) Kaitlyn

ReplyDeleteI love teaching because it is different everyday and I can make a difference in the world with each student I teach.
