I am FINALLY getting on the Currently train. Since Farley at Oh Boy 4th Grade is so nice to keep everyone up to date on each other, I figure it is about darn time I get with the program around here! So here we go :)
So there you go! A little bit of what is going on with me Currently. :) Make sure you head over to Oh Boy 4th Grade and read about what everyone else is dong Currently.
And since this is post number two today (I know, I know...the blog police are probably knocking down my door as we speak), here is a little freebie for you.
This is the sheet I put on the back of the Homework folders I make for the students. It has a few reference guides for them and I used my new find...Kevin and Amanda Fonts! Whoo hoo!!!
I am jealous of your beach days!! We don't have a beach in good old Kansas!!
ReplyDeleteI am one of your Currently - Rule of 3 readers...
ReplyDeleteI also love Tale of Desperaux...I love to use it in my writing workshop for mentor sentences!

ReplyDeleteI agree with what you wrote for thinking. I too need to stop eating food, and get out there and exercise. It's summer, I have the time lol

I definitely need to stop eating and work out more! It's Taco Bell's fault. I love TB too! I have got to stop.
ReplyDeleteIt is always Taco Bell's fault. I am with you there! ;)

Thanks for the HW ref - and what's with TB, I crave it all the time too! You can enjoy the beach and I'll enjoy floating in my pool. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI could eat it 3 times a day...seriously, I love that place!
DeleteI love everything by Kate diCamillo - but Taco Bell? Not so much. You can have mine!
ReplyDeleteKrazy Town
I will gladly take it :)
DeleteLove Despereaux but the MOVIE was a HUGE disappointment!!! book are better anyways RIGHT??? Oh and I love Taco Bell!!! thanks for linking up
ReplyDeleteThat movie was the first time I have ever had such a visceral reaction to a movie. I was actually ANGRY about how they changed the storyline so much. If I wasn't watching it with my students (who also were angry!) I would have turned it off.
DeleteHi Stephanie:
ReplyDeleteIs this really your first Currently? If yes, nice job!
If no, I'm glad you did it anyway... EXCEPT I am now craving a soft taco from Taco Bell! Yummmmmmmm.
Love the reference page--and the fonts too! Of course I downloaded it and put it in my September file.
BTW, Harry Wong (the book) and I spend every September together!
